CELEST - CEntre for Long-term Efficient and Sustainable road Transport system
CELEST is a Swedish Network of Excellence within road transport planning supported by the Swedish Road Administration.
CELEST conducts research, development and demonstration activities within the transport policy arena. CELEST also carries out researcher education in the field of transport policy.
CELEST consists of four research bodies:

CELEST's strategy
The strategy within CELEST is to conduct research in order to generate more-in-depth knowledge about all aspects of the decision-making process. This research involves the refined development of methods, models and other decision-making tools needed by the Swedish Road Administration and other decision-making bodies.
